p0122 acceleration problem... need help figuring it out
I was driving to work this morning and came to a stop. When i pressed the gas pedal to accelerate it didnt seem to respond till i pressed it all the way to the floor. I pulled over restarted the car and it drove like normal again.Has anyone had this problem before. If so how did yall fix it.
Did you have a code reader to get this info? Check here for possibilities - P0122 Throttle Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Low Input - Check Engine Light Code
but also - check your battery for low voltage. I had this happen on a Mazda once - I could hardly drive, but a new battery fixed it right up.

Yes i did use a code reader. Battery is almost new got it in august. Seems like it only happens when i go over bumps or railroad tracks. Im pretty sure it might be the gas pedal going bad.
Having it happen when going over bumps sounds like there is a connection problem somewhere, but it could be the pedal sensor wearing out. I guess that's the next easiest thing to test, so work back from that through a process of elimination. How many miles on the car?
