Default Car won't start sometimes! Anyone else?

I've just replaced my battery a month ago. Since then my car hasn't started on 2 occasions. On those 2 occasions all electricity to the car is gone! Not even the key fob works. On those occasions I've had the car jumped and it starts right up. And then is fine. The battery, alternator, and starter have all been checked by 3 different garages and all say they show to be in good condition. Even the Chrysler garage says the same thing! So I'm at a loss here. Now every time I get into my car I wonder if it's going to die on me. Anyone else experience something like this?

When the car does start up it starts like a champ, no issues. But when it doesn't it completely dies. Makes no sense!

Did they check the battery ground connection to the frame real well ?

What Ala_ said: My battery ground cable lug at the ground end was damn near eaten away with corrosion when I got the car three years ago.
AutoZone had a generic cable that was only 2 inches longer and fit perfectly for something like $9.95.

And the little box next to the battery with three bolt in fuses - check the condition and tightness of the 200 amp fuse in there.

And *sometimes* it is hard to describe what a car is doing, exactly, so I'd suggest you have the RCM resoldered completely.

Does this happen from a cold start (like after it has sat for several hours) or after the car is warmed up, shut down and then attempted restart after a few minutes.

Does the car ever die while you are driving?

When the car doesn't start, do you get any lights on the dash when you turn the key to the first position?

I will definitely ask them about the ground connection next time I speak to the garage, thanks.

Both times the car was already warmed up. Has happened when I was running errands. After getting back in the car to restart, the car was dead, completely. No dash lights, no radio, key fob doesn't work. The whole system is down. No clicking when trying to restart, just dead silence.

The car stalled out once at a light, but I think it may have been from jumping it too many times?

Could the battery be faulty but still test as fully charged?

What voltage is the battery giving? It is certainly possible that you have a bad "new" battery. What is the manufacture date on it as well? I had issues after my battery was replaced a few months ago. It turns out that I just needed to disconnect and reconnect the battery cable and I haven't had the issue since.
