At a stalemate...
My wife is eligible to lease any Mercedes at a very discounted price. The dilemma is this:
Do I keep my '05 Crossfire with 125, xx miles
-or-
Do I keep the '06 Mazda5 with 86, xx miles.
We can only afford to keep two cars so one of the above has to go, the question is which. Both have been maintained since I've had them, I just know I would be less out of pocket selling the Mazda5.
Thoughts?

The wife is looking at a GLK so we'll be good on cargo room, the XF is getting old though...
The crossfire may be getting old but it doesnt "look" old. Besides your Crossfire is practically a Mercedes so now you'll have 2. Since you've been maintaining the Crossfire for all these years, you've gained the experience of maintaining a Mercedes vehicle. Besides as you've said you'll be "less out pocket selling the Mazda5". I think your problem is solved in my opinion. You cant show up at our Crossfire meets in a Mazda dude!
They all day to ditch the Mazda5, lol
Hmmm. I've always wanted a convertible...and a 6 speed too! That sounds fun. How much you want for it?
I've had to replace the rod bearings in my daily driver (83 Civic) twice! I think it is about done.

About 2 grand less than what I owe on it, lol.
Of course sexy counts. You wouldn't want a woman who's top didn't come off!
On a practical note when I asked my daughter's boyfriend who is the head mechanic at an independent Mercedes shop regarding the 51K on mine, he said his Mercedes which has the same engine has 187K miles on it with no problems. Meaning, if taken care of, they're pretty bullet proof engines. Yes, of course, that doesn't mean other things can't go wrong with it, but 125K miles is far short of 187K.
Keep the XF Roadster.

My wife can be hard to please when it comes to cars. I usually buy what I like...lol. Well, we both love the MB. She brags on it everyday especially in the snow. Of course when the snow gets too deep she drives the back up car a Tahoe. But, she would just as well be in the MB... Now to be fair to Mazda, the reason she drives the Tahoe when the snow is deep, is because she took the Mazda thru deep enough snow to damage the front bumper cover. So, no pushing snow with the MB... I am sure their bumper covers are just as expensive. LOL.....
I had a great purgeoning a few years ago and sold all my front wheel drive vehicles. I have never looked back, and I live in the snow belt.
The Mercedes Benz I dove today has 210,000 miles and is still running strong! Great in fact, has lots more miles in it. It is our GO-TO vehicle for driving in the snow. But it has AWD and dedicated rims with winter tires.
