Default Just purchased two Crossfire books.

Just got these books from the Chrysler TechAuthority.

They can be found on page two here.

Crossfire Student Reference Book (250 pages)
and the
Crossfire Convertible and Supercharger Update book (114 pages)

$14 each but by the time taxes, shipping and UPS rip off charges are added they cost me C$38 each.

Thanks for the info 180. I have been looking on ebay for them and they never come up. I see they also have owners manuals - cheaper than they are asking for on ebay. I don't need one but like to watch prices!
Thanks, Ron

The Student Reference book is already scanned albeit poorly.
I am not going to do the other one though. LOL

There are 60 pages on the roadster top operation in the Update book.
It includes ten circuits of hydraulic fluid flow during the operation, five opening and five closing.
Info on solenoids, sensors and the HCU/PTCM UNIT. HCU is the Hydraulic Control Unit, PTCM is the Power Top Control Module.
The hydraulic pump can produce over 2,200 psi.
If I had a roadster I would buy it, if I had a SRT6 roadster I would definitely buy it.

Any significant data with regards to the "supercharger update book"?

Lots of info on the roadster top operation. See my earlier post on that.
The rest is general stuff really, CAC circuit, body changes, spoiler wheels etc.

As I have the training CD's I found it hard to resist not getting the workbooks. After seeing the combined handling and shipping was $22.00 for $28.00 in books, I backed off from the purchase. I remembered I wanted to get a service manual CD for my new Charger which would have incurred the same S/H charges, so I went for it and got all three items.

Aside from not fitting in a roadster think I'll keep my Reatta 'vert. Pop the tonneau and can flip the top up with one hand (if you really wanted to). About 30 seconds from hidden to latched (mostly walking around the back of the car).

Next 'vert I buy will have a tin roof.

You really should sell the Crossfire, we can see you are not happy with it.
Mind you having F'd up the interior you may be stuck with it wouldn't you say?

Just said the roadster is not for me, I really am enjoying the coupe and what it is going to be, is just a matter of making the interior fit and adjusting/modernizing a few things, I do that to all of my cars, even the heep & the Judge, none are stock.

Always have one car that is a toy, used to be Fieros and I had a bunch of them but good Fiero GTs with a manual trans are hard to find and appreciating, Crossfire is just hitting the fun side of the curve.

Is also a hobby and a learning experience, what's not to like ? I mean the engine and trans aren't bad, just not all they could be. Everything you could want and less.
