a few helpful pics
I thought maybe these pics would be helpful for some of the newbies and maybe interesting to those who don't do their own wrenching. The information that a lot of guys ask for is stamped right on the valve covers, ie. cylinder numbering and firing order. Also a look at the 3 valve arrangement which is why we have 2 spark plugs per cylinder. I hope the pics upload, I'm still having a few problems with my computer. I'll lose my internet signal randomly for a few seconds, just enough to interrupt upload.

Yes I would. I have managed to post some pics in the past but often they don't upload. I thought maybe I'm trying to upload pics with too many pixels. I had been on ultrafine resolution, 14.4 megapixels but I'm not sure why some loaded and others didn't. I do have a lot of trouble with my internet, losing the signal intermittently for a few seconds and then coming back and after 12 midnight, it pretty much shuts down.
Yes, thanks. The firing order is also stamped on the front of one valve cover.
These pics are resized to 800x531 pixels (257 and 193 KB) from much larger files. The one above is 1024x680 , as you can see when it is posted in the body of the thread it makes the normal width of the thread go wider, so I'll stick to 800 width pics.
I uploaded the pics using 'manage attachments', clicked on them one at a time when they were in the 'image attachments' list, copied them, closed the picture and pasted them in the message body.
Cylinder number and plug lead - #4 on driver side, front.

Firing order on passenger side valve cover, #1 is passenger side, front.
