A dreaming XF owner
This guy has a very low mileage XF for sale. Read his description of why his car is worth $38,500 and what it will be worth in the very near future. I wonder if the people at Hemmings would agree with his opinion of what a XF is worth today and what it will be worth in 10 years. If I believed he was right on what the XF will be worth, I would be buying a couple of more. I don't know where he gets his info on the value of XF'ers, but I think he's dreaming. Pipe dream.

So, for "More garage space" (which he could rent) he is giving up on over $50,000 of investment income in the next handful of years?
Damn, that guy is a fool's fool.

It's a nice looking vehicle and 370 miles are low. One wonders why he is walking away from $50k, $80k, $100k in a few years. A used car is worth what people will pay, and used XFs with very low mileage go in the teens. Let's recycle this thread in 2030 and see what they are worth. Maybe they are the Bricklins or DeLoreans of the future.
That's excellent news. Using his math if I hold out until the 2015's models hit the dealer lots my 2005 Roadster will hit the magic $100,000 being it will be 10 years old. I am now accepting all bids over $90,000.00. PM your best bid to me by October 1st and good luck.
