leaking valve cover

Default leaking valve cover

I`m beating a dead horse here, what I have read in this forum is that a silicone is preferred instead of a gasket and it will do the trick on my crossfire. please send me feed back

Silicone/ RTV sealant is used for the top breather covers, but gaskets are available for the actual valve covers. Rob at NeedsWings has 'em for $44.

Here is the thread on the sealant use on the breather covers by the late MikeR as a PDF file.

Sealant on the small breather covers and a rubber gasket on the main covers.
