There is one design flaw, no problem, cup holder works like a champ and I've been using it daily. But I'm kind of a perfectionist, my daddy's fault not mine
The two arms that hook onto the ash tray are of equal length. The xfire center dash has a slight cant from centerline both left and right. Looks to me that if I can devise a way to shorten the arm closest to the shifter just 1/8 inch that the cup holder would sit perpendicular with the centerline of the dash. If you can make any sense out of that. Maybe you will figure it out. Thought about taking my heat gun to it but if I trash it I'll be out another ten spot.

Any concern with scratching the plastic at the top or near the bottom of the coin lid where the cup holder is hitting it, or is plastic on plastic not an issue?

I thought the same thing. It is plastic on plastic but I put very thin 3m double sided tape on the contact points and removed the glue from the contact side with goof off.

I am not sure if there is too much play in my shifter (feels positive) but the photos show my issues with anything forward and the coinholder ides seems to get in the way of both my hand in 1st and my knee.

Is there any adjustment on the accelerator pedal to move it about an inch forward ? Now have back at proper angle and left foot can stretch out but right is a little close when on pedal (use cruise A Lot).

Do understand that this is really a five speed with a granny gear so use first rarely but still....

Mine is an auto don't know about the five speed fitment may not work for the sticks. Like I said in an above post the right leg of the cupholder needs to be shortened just a tad or the left leg lengthened. This will put the holder perpendicular with the dash instead of angled towards my knee. Then I will be able to lean my knee against the console without hitting the holder. Works just fine for me as is but I will do the shortening/lengthening when I get time.

That's why you use version 35,154.

Why double sided if you are removing the glue from one side?

I just wanted to use the tape as a pad, so I stuck it to the holder and removed the glue on the other side so it wouldn't stick to the coin tray door.
