Yes its still ongoing I hit a problem with one manufacturer and got with another who took six weeks to make one!!!.

The issues are with the fittings but as I post this a steel company is making brackets and the retaining hooks.
I have another company on board too to make the cassette blinds. It is coming together and I expect a batch ready for mid November at the latest. I apologise for the delays but I didn't realise how difficult a task it would be.

Kind regards

Karl

Hi Karl,

We appreciate your work on this project. I was wondering if it was still moving ahead with the manufacturing of this cover or has it completely stalled since I haven't seen any new updates. Let us know how things are going. I would like one but if it's a no go I will have to manufacture something on my own.
Thanks

He posted about them on Facebook. They are being finalized, but he's still working on them.

Hi guys apologies for the delay but I had some manufacturing issues. I now have a prototype cassette cover and all the fittings. I have been really busy work wise and not had a chance to install yet. That will be in a week or so. When its in I will post pictures and after a period of testing I will give the green light to have a batch of 10 made. Its been a long haul but finish line now in sight

Good work Karl... Looking forward to seeing how it looks. I'm new here so I am not aware as to what the cost was for one of these?
