Default Anybody remember those Xfires on closeout in Oklahoma?

Hi Gang, I remember back about 5 yrs ago in the winter a Chrysler dealer had somehow bought up about 48 Crossfires from Corporate warehouses. They put on a killer sale. I remember 07 and 08 models were priced at 50% off of sticker and with full warranties. I wanted to go I believe it was Altus Oklahoma, and there was a huge ice storm that week.

Anybody on the list get any of those on that killer sale?

A local dealer here in Cincinnati had a few at $20,000 off sticker. I still opted for a nearly new, used one.

I thought I remembered reading about some people buying their brand new 07/08's for around 17+ with a Life-Time warranty, but I couldn't tell you who it was.
I'm thinking it was a gentlemen who lived in a beautiful house in OK, and had a silver roadster, and a silver coupe.
I'm pretty sure some "Base" cars were sold for around 17K as well, but I could be mistaken.
I paid $21,700 for my brand new 04 in the spring of 05. Won it thru an EBAY auction, and drove 18 hours (round trip) to pick it up from the dealer.
I'd do it again in a heart beat.

I am not sure the '07 had the lifetime drivetrain warranty. But the '08 did. I bought my coupe at Thanksgiving of '08 and it has the warranty. Think it was around $24,000. Also my friends in Canada have never heard about the lifetime warranty. Could it have been only in the USA? Anyone know?

I do remember a ton of postings about brand new XFs well under list. While I would have loved to save the money, no regrets buying my roadster for $36k. Even better, I bought the SRT6 in 2008 for $21k.

I was seriously looking in August, '09, and found six new 07 limiteds w/automatics all for under $18K. A bunch were in Texas at a dealer I recall as Star Chrysler, and seven base coupes were at Integrity Chrysler in Las Vegas under $20k, plus six convertibles under $23k. Every one was an automatic. I was holding out for a manual and an LPW, and believe I got the last one from a dealer in Birmingham, Alabama. Jumped on a plane the day I found it and drove it home cross country. Price: <$23k.

In late 2009 Chris Nichols Chrysler in Broken Arrow, OK had a bunch (over a dozen) of new Crossfires. They were well advertised and didn't last long. Can't remember what they were selling for.

Bonham Chrysler in Bonham, TX was another dealer who bought up a bunch when Chrysler dumped them on the market. I think at one point they had over 50 between them and their sister store in Greenville, TX. I got my SRT-6 there at about 1/2 sticker with full warranty and never titled.

Brad, I was thinking of somebody else, (but I did forget that you held out for one of those once-in-a-lifetime deals.)
I sure do wish Alzheimer's didn't run in my family.

Bought my new '07 limited coupe with nav, 6 speed and 16 miles on it in December of '08. Came with the lifetime power train warranty and was $18,500 after all taxes and fees.
