Default 2007 convertible windshield trim trouble

I have a 2007 convertible i had the windshield replaced a year ago and now i hear a noise. The trim around the windshield looks like its coming loose left and right were it joins the uprights. I have tried to pound it back down but it will not stay, I'm afraid it may fly off.

I'm also afraid to pry it up because i don't know what i will find.

Any suggestions please.

thanks Jim

Unless you are adept in fixing this type of problem, you should take it to a reputable window installer in your area. I would call the local Mercedes dealer and get a recommendation of a local company they would use for this type of repair.
It sounds like the attaching clips are losing their adhesion to the metal pillar frame around the windshield. They should have access to a supply of the clips. Your Crossfire is not the first to experience this type of scenario.
Good Luck,
Dennis

Where can you get a new set of the attaching clips?
