A few years back when we visited the Chrysler Museum, the guide told us that was going to be the Gen 2 Crossfire. James

What I always understood, it was a concept car that was just one of the casualties of the Daimler/Chrysler divorce.

While beautiful, the Firepower was the wrong car at the wrong time for Chrysler. Just like the Crossfire, the public did not associate Chrysler as a high end $$ sports coupe manufacturer. Combine that with a time when the economy was headed into one of the worst ever seen.

Take a SSB NA coupe, drop in a 6.1L Hemi, add some chrome and bodywork, VOILA !
Nuttin Chip Foose couldn't do in a week.

Wonder what happened to the "standard G-Force meter" ?
I also like that radio better than what was used.
