Cool Many Happy Returns

I have owned my Crossfire and been on this Forum since early 2006. During that time I have seen quite a few owners sell their Crossfires for various reasons only to buy again at a later time. Crossfire ownership seems to get in your blood. How many current owners have sold only to return ????

Well I have done it too. Had a black base 06 coupe with only 13k mi and traded it on a new 2011 Fiesta. Now in mid 2014 I found a LTD 05 convertible and did it again. Like the drop top version and that lovely vanilla interior.

I have the red roadster but wish I had the vanilla interior. I have never seen one with that combination.

My friend did just that. He was one of the first people to pre-order a Crossfire in 2003 in sunny Florida. Was very enthusiastic until 2007 even though he used to complain about the dropping prices each model year.
He sold it in 2007 after his wife (go figure) felt they needed a more functional vehicle. Out he came with a 2008 Jeep Cherokee. His financial situation changed for the better and his kids left the house so with freed up garage space he finally got his wife to agree to let him purchase another Crossfire (2004, Black on black with only 29,000 miles) last year. His mood has changed for the better ever since not just towards his wife!

It's impressive how 10 years later you can still get this car with low mileage and obviously for a price you won't find a comparable quality car for!

I've had 3, but never done without one. I've been so tempted to sell my baby (Garage Queen) with 5,600 miles on it, bought new Oct. of 06. But then I go out to it's home and think of all the $$$$ & work I put in it and it's still like brand new. And then back out of the thought.

I wish my garage looked tidy like that.

I don't do anything in that part to get it cluttered up or dirty. I just added that on about 4 years ago for a toy box. Now my garage is bigger than my house.

Damn, I need your scratch.

As for this thread, I'll likely pick up another SRT6 in 2017. I think I'm going to sell the CL in early '15 and run a fast older Mustang for a year or so. After it I'll likely pick up another SRT.
