This price includes the remote tuning cable, allowing us to tune your car from the comfort of your home. No need to remove the ECU; the whole process only takes about 20 minutes! All you need is a Windows based laptop with wireless internet access at your vehicle.

Gains for N/A cars are estimated around 18HP/20TRQ and about 38HP/40TRQ for the SRT models. With the optimized ignition and fueling maps, the tune also raises the speedlimiter (to 200+ mph), improves throttle response, and raises the torque limiters!

We are also offering a combined discount on the SRT-6 tune and Eurocharged V6 supercharger pulley for a total cost of $550 for both products together. Retail price is normally $875 for both.

To the guys at Eurocharge -- please be specific about which version of windows will work. When I did my retune last summer, it would only work with Windows 7, not 8. If that has changed, that's great. If not, make sure people understand what software version is compatible.

Is this the complete kit including the flash/software for $250?

Also what skill level is involved? I'm comfortable working with the car mechanically and I have above average knowledge working with computers but I have never tuned a car with my laptop before.

 

It includes the tune and USB to OBDII cable. You actually download the software from our website. It's so easy a caveman could do it. Anybody that can work a Mac or Windows computer can get it done quickly.

 

Just fired the old version up on my Win 8.1 . Ran as admin - came up and informed me "new version" downloaded and install. Now (running as admin) this pops up. Haven't restarted computer or anything as of yet. Just figured I'd get your thoughts right quick.

 

Also is this compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions?

 

Is the pulley on sale if we just bought the tune? Or the TCU tune?

Great deal! I want to do this, but I recall some members complaining about it "bouncing off the rev limiter, and AFR spikes at shift points". Not sure exactly what was happening there, but have these concerns been resolved for those that track their cars and run them to the extreme? Thanks in advance.

 

The quoted 38 hp improvement for the SRT6 would be worthwhile, but as the quoted improvement for SLK32 is only 18 hp I am somewhat puzzled by the claims. Are you at EC actually confirming that the SRT6 engine was indeed de-tuned or are the figures based on the published SRT6 hp figures?

Actual charts confirming a 38 hp (crank) increase would get me off the fence as that is a significant increase in power, 18 hp not so much.

I just installed the software but it was a much more manual install process than outlined in the instructions. Now I am wondering if it is because I am using it on my XP laptop. Anyone know if XP is compatible?

 

I did my install with XP.
