Default No Crossfires

There seems to be a lot fewer Crossfires on the market recently. I used to go to Cars.com and would always find 25 - 30 listings. Now there are only 5-6 and no SRTs. Craiglist is the same way. I guess most of the current owners are keeping their gems unless they outgrow them.

The same is true for the listings on ebay. There used to be 40+ a couple of years ago, and now there is half that many.

I've seen a greater reduction of SRT6's over the past 2 years, just finding 100 new VIN#s for the SRT6 database over the past two years. Less than 60% of the VIN's have been collected since the collection was started several years ago. The should be about 20% that have been totaled and off any sales sites, since the cars are 10+ years old.
Just my 2 cents......

The less there are, the more valuable mine is to me and maybe others. Plus, you just cannot beat the attention I get with my 'one of 2000' produced (according to stats published on the wiki website). What a crazy large listing that link is, crazy!

Ten years takes it's toll on 70k vehicles and between totalling them or us fanatics buying 2-3 each, they probably have mostly settled into permanent homes. I wish my son felt as affectionate towards his 2007 Machine Gray coupe MT6 as GraphiteGhost. I don't think the 25-yo knows just how nice a car he has. <sigh>

Ahhhh, the iggy of youth. I remember how set in my mind I was when I was around that age (and I am certainly glad I can still remember that time period, some blank years already exist)!

Amen to that, I abused and used up quite a few future classics in my day. If I had taken care of and kept 10% of them I would be a rich man today.
