How old are the XF drivers?
Re: How old are the XF drivers?
The first project I worked on was smooth stones-they all had rough edges before I got involved.
I bought this car for my forays into the hills of Pennsylvania and West Virginia where it's handling has been exemplary.
In the early stage of my courtship with the lovely Lisa we stopped down the street from Annabelle's Diner which is where all the local custom car guys go to show off their machinery. After walking through the parking lot oohing and aahing at the wonderful collection of vintage cars we went back to the Crossfire. I asked, "shall we be seen"? and we drove slowly through Annabelle's lot. Through the open windows we could hear the word Crossfire repeated again and again. I raced Formula Vees in SCCA for seven years and never got that much attention.

Oh well.
The most asked question (crossfire), So do you like it? I tell them what I honestly think, and you all know what that is. They just look at me like all confused. Guess just everyone else tells what they want to hear. Except one lady, she said I was looking at the boxter and this, I told her go for the boxter has a lil more oomph, she said yes I totally agree. Again she was well into her late 30's early 40's.

Guess I'm the senior citizen of the bunch. I'll be 69 in May. My CF is fun, but sometimes its hard to find friends to lift me in and out. I was able to see over the front, but I keep getting shorter. I ran my CF on a long straight road the other day; fast; she got up to 40 in just 2 minutes. Then I had to get out and pee. Nice of Chrysler to put a flap on that tank thingy that I couldn't unscrew. I was shakin' from the high speed, anyhow an' got some on th' tire. It'd probly gone even faster if I hadn't been haulin' that load of sod an' tryin' to keep the pallet from blowin' off the roof.
