Default Cylinder Firing Order

Just randomly discovered this upon my painting ventures. I,cant almost guarantee im not the first one to notice this, but with the slim chance that i might be, i discovered that the embossed number on the front of the passenger side valve cover is actually the firing order of the cylinders. Just a fun tidbit. Those in question had the answer in front of their face the whole time

Also, the G and K, just guessing, but are there 2 different length spark plug wires? Gross and Kurz (Long and Short)

Yes, the spark plugs wires have a 'G' or a 'K' on them as well.

Excellent, my 4 years of barely passing high school German wasn't wasted.
