Welcome and enjoy the car and this forum
looks like i could be the newest 100,000 miler since it seems that this thread gets less and less attention., just made it over the hump this past weekend. 2005 srt6 roadster.
Bought this 2004 Limited with 38k in 2010. It was my daily driver until 2017 and has been (fingers crossed!) pretty good to me along the way. Major repairs have consisted of a new AC, Shocks/Springs, two Crankshaft Position Sensors, and about ten sets of tires (thanks Pittsburgh potholes).
Thanks for all the wisdom and insight provided by members of this forum along the way!
Well done. I have listened and followed the forum’s suggestions from day #1 knowing how temperamental and unique these cars are and have enjoyed driving them ever sense. Thanks to you and to the veterans that contribute to make that possible. At 103k and only dealing with a battery drain issue. Go Steelers and Penguins.
I just picked up a 05 Coupe NA with new General tires, brakes/rotors , battery, with a few minor issues that I am working on with the help of this forum. I do all the work myself and have been flipping cars for fun starting this year. I restore Vintage Motorcycles and have told my wife this car is a keeper. I picked it up with 129k and it still looks and runs like a new car. It is hot in middle Tn and the fan blower motor had stopped working so they were wanting to selling so i picked it up for a few thousand bucks. I enjoy driving something that is fun and have always had Vettes but this is much more fun. I am going though the car and finding that she had been loved by the previous owners so I will do the same. Blower motor will be here this week and I picked up the resister just in case but you can clearly see the motor is fried. Thanks for having me in your forum. MUCH more helpful than the others. God Speed. GG in TN
Wish I had know about the 100,000 mile club. Sold my 07 Silver Crossfire Ltd Coupe in Aug. 2021 with 202,000 miles. Biggest expense was new tires every 2 1/2 years.
I now have an 08 Red Crossfire that started at 18K miles so......................Here I go again! I am lucky in working for Mercedes-Benz and the Service Mngr is kind enough and allows 3 great techs who are super knowledgeable to service /repair my vehicle as needed.
Nice looking car!
Is that the original paint? Or always parked inside?
What is that spoiler looking thing at the top of the hatch window? Is it available somewhere?
Thanks
Jim

I bought it in November of '21. Was set to be someones parts car but I convinced them otherwise.
Original paint until June of '22 when I painted the front left fender and right rear quarter and bumper due to a previous owners run-in with.... something.
The clearcoat on the roof and hood is slowly starting to peel but the spots are small. I plan to have the front bumper, hood, roof, and hatch lid repainted this spring, and blended into the fenders.
I created this thread nearly 10 years ago when my Coupe hit 100,000
Now nearly 10 years later my 6 Speed Roadster I purchased 7 years ago with 51511 now has 98,000
