It is possible that I just scored !!!

I sent an e-mail to Valeo (SWF) (thanks to OneHundred80 for the direction) only to be told
by them that they could not help me.

I Googled "trapezoid wiper blade" and clicked on TRICO and lo-and-behold it certainly appears
that the 46 series and 47-700 fit the car. The 46 even says it fits SWF though it only comes
in max 20" length. The 47-700 seems to be the same blade (trapezoid claw) break-to-fit length
up to 22" and come 2 to a pack for $6.99 USD. To make my good fortune even better there is
one Advance Auto within 100 miles of me with them in stock. It's only 5 miles out of my way.
I paid online and will pick them up on the way home from work tonight.

I'll let you know if they really do fit. Here's the write-up from the TRICO website...

46 Series

46 Series narrow wiper refills are designed to fit 7mm trapezoidal claw twin rail wiper blades, including TRICO Exact Fit® blades, Bosch, NWB and SWF blades.
They are designed with metal twin rails for easy installation. Unlike most refills, these refills are measured in millimeters, not inches.
Features and benefits:
  • Designed to fit Original Equipment and TRICO twin rail blades with trapezoidal claws
  • Packaged singularly
  • Wiper refill size – available in lengths from 380mm (15") to 500mm (20")
47 Series

TRICO offers the industry's only metal Break-To-Fit narrow refills. The stainless steel metal rails in these refills are scored at 1" intervals to make
customization a snap.

All Break-To-Fit part numbers come with two refills per package.
  • 36-500 fit TRICO Windspoiler® and Toyota Original Equipment bridge vertebrae blades from 15" to 22"
  • 47-600 fit 6mm square claw blades from 16" to 22"
  • 47-700 fit 7mm trapezoidal claw blades from 15" to 22"
  • 47-800 fit 8mm square claw blades from 17" to 26"

Excellent, thanks! I bought generic new blades, but kept the originals (at least I hope so) to refill someday and keep the wing.

I picked up the TRICO 47-700 Break-To-Fit refills at Advance Auto last night.
Did a quick test fit to see if they fit the OEM claw. Perfect fit.
They come two to a pack with both 22" long so one should fit the long blade right out
of the box and the other can be snapped off at the 20" mark (the metal splines
are scored at one inch increments).
$6.99 US and your OEM blades are good to go again.

I'll fully install them when I get a chance but don't anticipate any problems.

Thanks to all for your help!

Their are basically only 2 widths of wiper refill (I don't mean lengths). I have never had any issues getting refills for any car I own, Crossfire included. I detest having to buy a new complete blade when I only need a refill and the new complete blade always look like crap compared to most OEM blades. Any big box auto parts store will have the correct width replacements refills, behind the counter, you have to ask for them if they don't have them out in the aisle with the other blades generally.

Well couldn't wait till tomorrow so I called Auto Zone they have Blades so I drove over there and got a set of Bosch 4820 driver side and 4822 passenger side 15.99 and 16,99 total 34,75 with tax. And they put them on.
That's done for the Dragon.

We're talking about 2 different things here. Refills vs blades.

The blades (metal and rubber) can be had just about anywhere. Just buy the 2 correct lengths. The XF uses the hook attachment for the blade.

The refill (rubber only) for the OEM blades are a horse of a different color. There probably aren't many XFs
left with the original wiper blades still on the car. It's too easy to just pop on new ones. If you're into keeping
the car original (if you're not - no harm, no foul) you'll want the refill to fit the OEM blades.
That was an uphill battle. I found that the TRICO 47-700 BREAK-TO-FIT worked perfect. They're packed 2 to the
package for just $6.99. Both sides for $6.99!

I used to get my refills from Crappie Tire up here, but I have not seen them when I looked the last few times. As a result I am using Bosch Icons. I am still looking, our local auto supply house does not have them, so the search is on.
I think the world is covering itself with junked items, with little thought that replacing a small item on an assembly is better than replacing the whole assembly. This is done to enhance the bottom line of these companies.
The continent has been stripped of its manufacturing by greedy nobodies who have little thought for their own children and even less for their grandchildren and great grand children.
A pox on them all.

I didn't have OEMl blades on the XF when I bought it.
It would be nice to have OEM blades but wouldn't know where to start to look. did the limited have the wipers with the foil?

Yes it did.
The OEM wipers were SWF see this site CLICK.
You can see the Windspoiler used, 20" was the length, the passenger side is the bottom style of the three (HPS) and 22" long.
You can probably get both lengths in the Windspoiler style.

I purchased some TRICO refills last week, when I got home I found they were NFG as they said on the box that they were the square claw type, I missed that in the store. Good thing was they were only $4.00 per blade.
I asked them if they had the trapezoidal ones and they said they did not. They tried to get them but could only get them by the case.
The search goes on.

I believe that is what mine look like. Only one has the airfoil. I still have them on my workbench.

Google Trico 47-700 Break-To-Fit refills. They sell by the pair. I just found some in Canada on Amazon.CA but not
the equivalent of my USD 6.99.

I saw those and they were too expensive, the shipping killed the deal.

I shall find them on a shelf somewhere I am sure.

I still have the OEM wiper blades on my 2007 Coupe. And I get the wiper blade refills from PIAA; DriverSide = 20"; PassengerSide = 22". Fit the factory wiper blades perfectly. I've also used a PIAA 21" wiper blade refill for both sides.

Attached are invoices from several sources I've used.

Hope this helps,

I bought replacement wiper arms from OE Discount Parts after I damaged both sides one weekend (don't ask me how I did that - it's still a sore point with me). Copy of invoice is attached. Contact at OE Discount Parts sold me the M-B P/N's which were identical & cheaper than the Chrysler P/N's. Go figure!.

Anyway, these guys are a good source of OEM parts for the Crossfire. And I've had really good service with them substituting M-B parts which are identical & most times cheaper.

Hope this helps,

This was great info. Never knew who supplied the OEM wiper blades.
