I finally got my TRICO 47-700 Break-To-Fit refill wiper blades, I got them from Amazon.ca, not cheap but I had looked around here and not found any. Not worth driving miles out of my way when I can order them on-line, They came in a box 5" x 5" x 36" and yards of wrapping paper scrunched up, I can see why I paid so much for them.
As previously said, one fits straight out of the box and one needs to be shortened by 2". It was a snap to do.

I polished them up and they look brand new, who polishes windshield wipers? Crazy.

I haven't polished the wiper blades, but I have removed them & sprayed them with fresh trim paint.

Hey, I polished and waxed the OEM wiper arms while I had them off the car re-loading the refills.
My wife said I was a nut case. I offered no argument.

I looked into ordering the 47-700 Trico "break-to-fit" wiper refills from Amazon. But found the item to be classified as an "Add-On" purchase at $6.99. So, according to Amazon, they won's allow purchase unless total order exceeds $25. Bummer!!

Keep an eye on eBay for these refills. I got a pair with shipping for $7.00 from a NAPA store that was closing and liquidating its inventory.

I think that means that free shipping is only on a $25 or more order.

You can also order them from Advance Auto (assuming they're not in stock at a local store. Mine were.)

Probably has to do with me having a Prime membership with Amazon. They put these wiper blades into the "Add On" category for only $6.99 with free shipping. But because the price is so low, you have to "bundle" this with other items in your cart. At least a $25 order is required, or Amazon won't include the wiper refills. And the wiper refills can be part of the $25.

I looked into this option. No store within any reasonable distance of my home had the wiper refills in stock. And when I looked into ordering the refills, by the time S&H costs were added, I could buy the PIAA silicone wiper refills (1-22" & 1-20") from Amazon at a lower total price & got 2-day delivery at no added cost. Already received text message from Amazon that wiper refills were shipped and will be delivered tomorrow.

My experience is that the PIAA silicone wiper blades last me 2 years. So the annualized cost is pretty low - $8.07 per 2 refills per year.

I thought Rob at NeedsWings said one size was not being made these days and that's why he does not carry them anymore.

I didn't run into any problems finding the PIAA silicon refills in both sizes. Attached is the Amazon order I placed.

The PIAA wiper refills were delivered today. DS = 22"; PS = 20". Good for another couple of years.
