Default Forever mine.

In late 2005 I bought my Crossfire from a dealer with about 5000 miles on the clock. It was an Executive car. I fell in love with the design from the moment I saw the first one. I didn't buy it as a collectible or investment but because I had missed out on so many other cars I wanted earlier in life but could not afford. I knew this one I wanted to keep for the rest of my life and hopefully keep it in pristine condition for others to fall in love with also. I don't care what it might be worth in the future because I have no intention of getting rid of it. I must say though that some of the cars I have owned and thought of as daily drivers have in fact become very valuable today. Our cars are very unique and beautiful.

Agreed.
Bought my then 32,000 mile Roadster in 2010 for 15K, good price back then.
Guess I'll hang on to it with 70K on it now, unless someone with a SRT6 Roadster with comparable miles wants to trade even.
( I know, ain't gonna happen. )

Ditto. She's not mint cond. anymore, (maybe someday), but she has had the best maintenance & repair that my labor and $$ can afford.

In general these cars have been kept in good condition by their owners, but I think we are seeing more cars on here that have been treated like an average car and show it.
Mine is a 2005 and I have put 14,000 miles on it in the nearly five years that I have had it, it now has 33,500 miles. I have kept it in top condition. I doubt the previous owner would notice any change.
People are amazed when they find out it is an eleven year old car, they are not amazed when they find out how old I am.

Red face Re: Forever mine.

Bought new, 4/05. 86k, wife's former daily driver, still looks new but for a couple minor blemishes. Still gets lots of compliments & folks are shocked that it is a 2005. (made by who?)
They are also embarrassingly surprised when I inform them that I am actually only 62. LOL
