So I was just reading through some old treads in an attempt to solve the mystery of my squeaky suspension. I started reading the signature of a forum member who had posted in one of the threads, and it sounded strikingly similar to mine. Graphite/cedar, 6-speed, Borla, Eibach, MOMO race ****, . The things that really struck me were the exact model of the aftermarket radio, a Blaupunkt Hamburg MP68, and the SLK sport bars, which I hadn't even given a second thought to before. The final test was the build number, #7170. I went out to my car and sure enough it was the last 4 digits of my VIN. So apparently my Crossfire used to belong to the forum member "former NXMX5." That's not even the coincidence though. On his profile, his last activity is listed as exactly two years ago today (September 7, 2014). Hey former NXMX5, if you ever log back in and see this, hit me up because I have a few questions for you! I'm not sure if anyone really cares about this, but I found this situation very intriguing and thought I'd share with the class.
