Default Tire wear

I have just finished my fourth set of rear tires in 20,000 miles. Three times I used Continentals and once I used Michellins. All wore out in 5000 miles. Does anyone have another brand suggestion? I really don't need a high performance tire. Are there any passenger tires that will fit?

I'm quite sure you need something else besides the tires
I know tires are gonna wear out with different mileage with different drivers but 5000 miles is not enough miles to wear out a tire unless something is bent or broken in my opinion
To answer your question though there are really no inexpensive rear tires for these cars

You need deep pockets, an alignment or both.

Another possibility, less use of a tire-spinning lead foot?
