I did check one tire, it was 44psi. Couldn't get the valve cap back on, so I thought, crud..... I don't want to force it and break the valve, so I quit there.

My guess, one tire was near low limit and thru the Louisville, the road got choppy and who knows.....

The ride was awesome, the tach sits at 2800rpm and the power at that spot is really good.

As I do my deep clean on the Crossfire, I'll discover more goodies.....

 

Glad you got home safe and enjoyed the trip. 2800 rpm would equate to around 140 Kmph or roughtly what 85 mph?

 

Cruise was set at 76mph. Tach reading 2800RPM.

 

Srt and na have 2 different gear ratios.
3.08 vs 3.27

Well the latest thing I don't yet have a fix for is the Tire Pressure Warning Light (TPMS). All tires have 40psi or more, good tread and caps of the valve stems.

Only thing I can figure is I "Woke them up" during the drive and they need to be reset? I'll try that first.

If that doesn't work, I pull the pin to turn the light out (temporary until tire replacement).

I haven't done anything with the top yet, my youngest wants to wash the car Wednesday and I gotta get a different car ready for a road trip.

Wifey will have her first trip / drive in it Tuesday.

I'll get it back after that to start fixing more stuff. Pulling the cowl is on the list of the deep clean and clay bar / wax job.

Got a chance to give the Crossfire a quick wash. Wanted to clean the wheels and wash down the tree sap.

I'll pull the wheels and do a deep clean in a couple of weeks.

Tried the top yesterday, windows go down and then switch slow blinks. First check is switch in bow. This will take time.

 

Does the RPM's seems right for the MPH? Not sure if overdrive is kicking in.

Notice the mileage??? Hit 111,111 on my way home!!!

 

First check the divider switch in the trunk, then the 'top raised' switch above the passenger's right ear ( these two are in series ).
If those are OK, next check the trunk latched switch.

 

Well, after the TPMS inspection at the tire store on Thursday, (one sensor not communicating) I decided to "temporary" disable the dash warning light.

The write-up was spot on and I completed the task.

Now, however, The map lights/dome lights are not functioning. They did so after putting everything back together. At a loss on that right now.

Two steps forward, one back.

Is there a fuse in the fuse box for these lights?

 

Played with the top about the same time, still the windows go down, trunk locks, divider switch made, bow switch sampled in both "ON and "OFF" conditions.

Switch beeps and rapid blinks. What's next step.

 

Trunk light bulb burnt out, replaced with LED #578 from Wallyworld. Has four LED's, nice and bright.

BUT, now the light is always on.!!!

So, has anyone experienced with taking the locking mechanism apart to fix the switch? Or is there something else to look for?

I know what you are thinking, I was used to rpm between 1,600 and 2,200

There is a 2.88 differential from a forum member.

Also a 3.07 is in the srt

We have a 3.27 in our N/A

The little bit taller tires drops rpm a scosh.
