I never get tired of having people at gas stations ask me if (2008 Bright Silver) Wilma is a Porsche. Happened again yesterday.....a man and a woman in a nice car both went bat-**** crazy asking me about it.

[QUOTE=ZX2 Nick;887191]WOW. This thread seems make people come up with bizarre nonsensical theories regarding ATF and engine Oil Changes. Change the engine oil when the FSS on the dash says to which is at most 7000 miles, use the correct weight synthetic oil.

Actually, there's more to the OLM than a set 7,000 miles....usually it will really let you go about 8,000 miles.
For instance.....my last oil change/reset was odometer reading 30,674.....now the odometer reads 33,939.....if it was a set 7,000....then when I punch the button it would read 3,735 (remaining)....but it does not....it reads out 4,200 miles left......if you prorate that out ....it's going to recommend an oil change after a total of about 7,871 miles. Mobil recommends changing the oil at least once a year for cars such as Wilma that don't get driven enough to meet the mileage recommendation.
