Default Traction Control Light

After striking a submerged pothole with the passenger front and rear tire, the traction control light began to flash. I toggled the switch on the console back and forth a couple of times and the light went out properly. I have driven approx. 40 miles since the incident (black SRT) and the light is functioning normally now. Yes, at 55-65 mph now, I can feel a little shimmy so I intend to get an alignment done. I don't think I bent the rim, but it'll all have to be gone over before I do any spirited driving with it. We just changed out the lower control arms both sides too...dang the luck..
Can I expect issues from traction control in the future? Anyone seen this happen before? Anyone ever have any luck getting the municipal govt. to cover the bill because they didn't maintain the road?. (lots of luck with that!)...Peace

Not sure about future problems but up here in Canada some towns pay for damage caused by pot holes in major highways.
A friend ruined a rim on a BMW and was looking for the hole on the way home, too many complaints made about it and lt had been repaired during the day. I am not sure if he got any cash, I would say take a picture of the hole if possible for proof.
