First time in 11 years...
First time in 11 years...
I was unable to drive my car home.
I have not been on here much the past few years but i have a glance from time to time.
For those who know my car, and the upgrades, and the mileage, and the journey it has been put through...
A few months ago was the FIRST time i was unable to drive my car home. For the record i did drive it onto the trailer...
Broke half the pinion gear and everything else inside the rear end to the point where the housing is also unusable. Was 3.07 gear
Now...
have a fresh set of 3.27 gears,
tcu programmed Rudy
Upgraded valve body
Every mount, bushing, everything has been replaced under the car somwhat recently. A leaky rear main seal but i will get to that later on in life.
The car honestly drives better than it has in years
The reliability of these cars are absolutely amazing. I recommend fixing the few little common issues (sticky key, solder connection and a few others) and have a spare cps in your glovebox.
I have lost alot of interest in the car the past few years however i have always kept it drivable and it puts a smile on my face every single time I get in it.
And the group of owners i have met over the years have became some of my closest friends
In 2008 this was the best $5000 i spent.
I would never have expected to throw atleast another $50k into it over 11 years.
ZERO regrets

I have not ever missed a year at Woodward since the beginning
Maybe you can surprise many of us and come back my friend
Gary
I will try and scoot out there for Saturday night. No promises but i do like a good circle of people drinking in a parking lot. I may have a sip of one beverage myself
It would be great to see you again Bryan though I did spend some time with you last year on the "Niagara on the Lake Cruise."
Any time you want to come back you are more than welcome to stay here at my place!
We do plan on coming back for a few days in the future. We'll let everyone know so we can all get together.
Sounds good Pat!
