Sadly to say someone pulled out in front of me. 1 thing i will say is these cars are well built. And my replacement car will be a crossfire. I have my eye on a 2005 srt6.
Very sorry for the loss, glad you walked away. Another example of how well these cars protect driver and passenger. The driver airbag did employ, right?

yes druver and passenger, and for some odd reason the driber sidr dpor window ended up on the outside of rhe windshield on the passenger side, as u can see in 1 of the pics
everything is still good except front end and windshield. Interior is perfect tires are new, not to mention an 80,000 mile motor and transmission, it never even busted the radiator so thats still good and a bran new battery, all new brakes and rotors . So ya there is plenty to salvage depending on what i can buy it back for. Ya i got lucky only got a couple of scratches on my wrist, and didnt have my seatbelt on either ,might have been worse if i did have.
Sorry for your loss. Now we can see that the steel bar in the front runs the full length of the front, plus it wraps around the sides. Lately, I have seen a Honda, Hyundai, and a Kia that had been in accidents where the whole front plastic piece was now gone, exposing what was under it for protection. That steel bar was hollow, like ours, but much thinner, and extremely short.....barely covering the length of the tiny radiator! There was nothing else in the front corner but a plastic sprayer bottle on one of them! If you get hit in one of the front corners, there is nothing to protect you in them. Also, the clear plastic headlight covers were paper thin, as was what was left of the plastic from the front cover! There is a total false sense of security in those vehicles if you crash! Our Crossfires seem to offer much better protection! Compared to the above mentioned newer cars, I recently saw the damage to an early 2000 Buick that bowled over 65 feet of chainlink fence , along with the neighbor's stockade fence. Along the way it grabbed a 20 feet aluminum ladder and folded it in half. The ladder pierced the radiator, but other then that there was no damage to the exterior but a few light scratches from the folded ladder on the hood! The fences looked like a tornado went right down the middle...everything knocked over, shattered etc. The plastic bumper didn 't even crack! I could not imagine what it would have done to the newer, forementioned Japanese or Korean cars!

im very impressed with the safety on the crossfire. Im not even sure if it bent the frame, as there is no mention of it on the $10, 000 estimate. Im not sure what im gonna do wuth it but i did buy it back. Ive got a cousin that has been doing bodywork for yrs, that wants to take a look at it. Lol might be a good time for a v8 swap. Or part out or use for parts for my srt that im buying.
Hello, I am looking to license pictures of a wrecked Crossfire for a TV show. Did you take the photos of the wreck? Would you be interested in licensing a picture?
Let me know if you're interested and I can give you more details
I am looking for pics! This is for a popular TV show and the picture will be found online by detectives and it leads them to a suspect. The suspect turns out to NOT be the killer! Nothing negative about Crossfire will be said in the show!
