Does anyone have suggestion for replacement ***** for A/C Heating?

Has anyone tried using a universal ****? OR, have replacements for sale?

The OEM ***** must be made out of a wheat thin because once they get a hairline crack down the center they are done.

I replaced mine with some all black ***** from a mercedes HVAC system and they've been find. They arent the silver color as the OEM but I honestly didn't care.

I replaced mine with the ***** from the slk320 hvac system. Somebody was selling just the ***** for like $5. I know you can buy them individually from MB for like $20 a piece, you cant even buy the OEM from Chrysler.

 

On the back face It should say what the plastic is, so it might be repairable.
ABS/PC is easily repairable, a disc of similar plastic could be cemented to the back face with the crack chamfered and bonded, fill in the chamfer, finish flush and re-spray.
Gorilla Super Glue and acetone work well on ABS and PC.
What material Is it made from?
