Determined that

1. my Secondary Air Pump broken.........should I stick with Bosch ?
2. my Blower Fan Resistor is broken....prices all over the place from $35 to over $100. Worry about ending up with Chinese made.

Any suggestions ?

There are always plenty of used air pumps on eBay at a great price. I agree about not wanting a Chinese blower fan resistor (URO parts are awful), my original one made by Behr lasted 16 years so I bought the same brand. This is a good price https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...426520&jsn=417

got Partsgeek.com used Bosch .....$87.00
.......Installed myself start to finish....12 minutes
.......my mechanic quoted me new Bosch $350 parts&labor

2. my Blower Fan Resistor broken....
got Behr $64. Plus $15 1 yr. warranty
.....installed myself 25 minutes
......my mechanic quoted me MB $220 parts&labor

disclaimer....I will pay for diagnostics by mechanic for determining what was bad because I can’t do diagnostics with electrical or electronic stuff.
