Angry New day-New code

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone could help me out. Woke up one morning and went to turn the car on. Turns out the ever pesky check engine light decided to make my day difficult. Went to scan it and it was the code P0122. I cleared it and drove it around. Next day the code came back, took it to my mech but his snap-on computer wasn't seeing any code so he cleared the car of any codes and the light turned off. This afternoon I went to move it and its back, the same p0122 code. If anyone can help me out on a way to fix It or if anyone else has had it please let me know. Details- 2006 Xfire limited with 112,000 miles. Recently has the transmission conductor replaced to fix code P0715.

Google says it’s a throttle position sensor

I believe that is fixed easily - by replacing the pedal sensor down behind the pedal.

Do yourself a huge favour
Download a copy of the service manual located on this site

It can be found on a link in 180’s signature

You’ll be glad you did
