Default '05 Roadster at Milwaukee Dealership-Need a local

Hi,

After narrowing down my search for my convertible upgrade (I have a Pontiac G6 GT Hardtop Convertible) to the Mercedes SL500 and now finally to a Crossfire, I know it will be hard to find what I want in my state. Flying to pick up a car is doable, but as someone pointed out...I may not get all the info. I am asking about accurately portrayed. Is there anyone in the Milwaukee city area that would be willing to check out a car at of the more well known dealerships for me? Just a once over to see anything glaing?

Thanks.

If you find someone to look at it get the dealer to put it on a hoist so it can be looked at from below.
I went with some forum members to look at an SRT for someone, the car had a glowing write up but was not up to par anywhere. We recommended that it be passed over.

Dave, am I correct in recalling that turd was being flogged by a Chrysler dealer?

I believe so. That was some time ago now, maybe twelve years, it had been badly abused.
We we’re doing it for the guy from Port Colborne.who was in Florida at the time.

I would rather buy from an owner with records than a dealer that can't even repair them.

Me too-finding that elusive combination is difficult.

I bought my very first car from a dealer when I was 15. Since then? Only private owners.
