Hey guys I need to take my SRT in for service to have that common weep/drip/leak on the front corner of the trans pan. so I am wondering if any of you have had a good or bad experiance with any of the local dealerships around Dallas?? I plan right now to take it to the one over on Ohio and Plano pkwy. I have used them in the past with other models but the SRT is not something all of them have played with so thought I would check with some of you guys..

FYI I live in Richardson and had my Aero blue SRT coupe for about a year now. its my daily driver 50 mile round trip. LOVE the car!!! maybe I can hook up with some of you guys one day. I see you meet up at kellers every now and then. I used to go to kellers pretty often in one of my old cars, but I had not seen a crossfire down there as of yet.... guess bad timing..

 

I have used Huffines on Ohio/Plano Pkwy for years. I have not needed any service other than oil changes on my SRT6 but they did some warranty work on my Base Coupe.

I know they have a few Crossfire trained techs there so you should be fine.

We have been very pleased with the service at Preston Chrysler near Valley View Mall. We bought the limited there and Darryl, the service manager, put it up on a lift for us and was very knowledgable about the xfires.

I just had the tranny problem fixed there last week on the SRT. In and out in less than a day. No problems with it since. They also installed the illuminated door sills.

We do need a Dallas GTG as soon as the weather turns nice.

 

thanks for input guys always a good idea to ask about these things because there are some pretty horible dealerships out there!!! had a few interesting situations all of my own over the years and dont want any more!!

BLKFIN.... yes we will have to hook up some time in the near future soon as things warm just a tad.... my car is so dirty right now waiting for a warm day I almost dont even recognize it....

 

I've only taken my limited in once for an oil change to the dealership in Grapevine. They tried to upsell me a tire rotation. And the sticker for my next oil change was less than 3000 miles away from when I brought it in. I'll probably take it to Plano next time.

 

Hey Christine thats good info for everyone to know... I could see a quicky oil change place doing that because they dont know the car but a dealership telling you 3000 miles is rather crooked....

I took mine over Friday afternoon when I got off work to Huffines in Plano. thought I was going to have to contact one of you for a srt6 fix... I am so used to driving mine everyday!!! but they called me by 10:00 Saturday morning and had it ready to go!! FYI O-ring where the electoinics goes in to the front right corner of the tranny just above the pan. Common problem.
