Hi Can anyone recommend a really good autobody shop around Tampa FL? I looked in the list but did not find autobody. Need to fix a little body work and get that brilliant red shining again.

You need to find a body shop that deals with Mercedes Benz repairs, just call a local Mercedes dealer and find the shop they use for body repairs. Since our cars were built in Germany at the Karmann factory, they used a clear coat that was extremely hard, when it dried.

Now I am looking for someone that could just pull out the bumper and put in a radiator so I could get the car home to NJ from Tampa and then deal with the rest when it's home. I put in a few calls to Alex the crossfire dad but I never get a return call. I figured this would be perfect for a crossfire enthusiast to help. Any other recommendations out there? Maybe not a full-on body shop?

The bumper does not need to be removed to install a radiator

 

It does if the beam came in and hit the radiator.
