Default SRT6 non runner (Looking to Buy)

Hello Friends, I hope everyone is doing well. I am headed out to buy a "6" that the owner is fed up with and wants gone so its my kind of buy. Just like the last one the clear coat is peeling but the main issue is "no start" He had owned it for 2 years and wants it gone. I see the car on the registor but no name beside the vin so I assume that means a member has never owned the car. 1st owner had it for close to 10 years in south fla. (Lake Worth) area.

I am taking with me my launch code reader since he mentioned it had been fine until one day it just would turn over but not fire. Owner replaced the crank sensor to no avail so I am taking new bosch crank and cam sensors and a new RCM along with tools. (is this the correct cam sensor and do I need two?)

Bosch 0232103114 Original Equipment Camshaft

Hopefully I will not have to trailer it home like my last R170. Wish me luck. Been driving a Genesis Coupe 3.8 that I have listed for sale as of last eve. Thanks in advance. GG in Tn

Best of luck, hope you get it running, with that collection of Parts you have on you. Don't tend to hear of terminal failures with these motors, hopefully you'll be driving this one home !!!

Keep us updated.

Thanks, parts will be here on Wed and still working with his bank to have title close by. these classics are known for the crank and cam sensors to go out, that why they tell you to carry spares. The K40 is the next item to cause issues and fixed my supercharger issues on my last srt6. I dont plan on taking a trailer so I will be driver her home. Thanks.

Sadly I missed out on this SRT6. It sold for 4000 as a Non Runner 115k miles Maybe a member got it but whoever ended up with the car got a decent deal in my book. Oriiginal owner had the car for 10+ years out the South Fla area, then it was a Albany Ga Dealership owned cars then Tn so the car did not see road salt. I hate I missed it but there will be others.
