Question Coolant flush & Change frequency

I am interested in knowing the truth about how frequently fluids need to be changed when everything is running well on my 70,000 coupe.
Also, has anybody tried to modify, customize or otherwise upgrade the interior to something a bit more worthy of this great vehicle?

Do you have the owners manual? That is the best place to start. Most of us change oil about 6,000 miles and some every 12 months or so, which ever comes first The transmission should have a fluid change at the minimum of 70,000 miles. If that has never been done then enough years have passed that it to should be changed by now . Brake fluid also should be changed if you do not know when that was last accomplished. Be certain to use the correct fluids when you do the change. There is a search box at the top of this forum. use it for more info and choose the google option with the search box.

Look for the free owner's manual .pdf file here in the forum documents collection. There is a boatload of help tutorials there as well (quite a lot of GREAT reading), and as mentioned, search is your friend. Good luck!

You can download the Service Manual in the 'TSBs and How To' forum, it is in the 'Crossfire Documentation' thread in the same forum.
The forum.
