Off the shelf filters are paper, Rob directed you to the Fleece filter you want. Paper filters will collapse in as little as 1500 miles, I've seen this personally.
You can get a re-boxed MANN Fleece filter locally but not for the price NEEDSWINGS sells them. I bought my last one locally here in DFW (Purolator L25277) for $21. IT is the same filter Rob sells for $10, which I did not know about until now.

DO NOT put a filter in that car that does not look like the one Rob directed you to.

You can get both types of filter off the shelf, paper and the so called fleece filter, it all depends what part number you ask for.
The ‘fleece’ filter is actually polyester I think, otherwise we would have PETA knocking on the door. That would be ‘Baaaaad for business.
