I have been reading lately that a few members are building the fastest crossfire, Congrats to them but I hold two records
#1 WORLDS FASTEST CROSSFIRE Yes with a V8 installed by Rudy and parts supplied by Rob (Needswings) 10.55 @132
and #2 a srt6 modded by Miami Matt and myself parts by Rob at Needswings BUT ON STREET TIRES WITHOUT A POSI just street tires and a open rear. 12.008 @114, also did not open the engine. No cam or head work. this is on the drag strip.
i hope to be on the 1/2 track mile soon. I know there were a few srt6's that ran in the 11's a few years ago,
Some had nitrus but a few did not,.but they did have wavetrac and drag radials if anyone wants to post their times (faster than I,

What are they doing to make the fastest crossfire? I’m curious
First the srt6 most everyone has done the same from Needswings, i got the super cooler, a 1 quart extra water tank, , the 178 lower pulley, 62mm upper pulley, belt wrap kit, pulley headers, down pipes, tuned computer, manual fuel reg,(to set the AFR"s to 12.9 to 13.2 max) AFR guage duel read both sides of the exhaust, 3.45 rear gears, replace the rear suspension with adjustable arms about 1 qt of water k & N filters belt wrap kit you may like this a good look at the rear suspension 3.45 before install need a rear end LOL Headers
Second i will do the V8. engine, transmission, computer and wiring from a 2005 SL500 with 3488.4 miles on it..
Next was upper(don't remember) and 180 lower pulley, lowered the radiator and moved forward 3 inches,by Matt, Computer tume by Rudy
belt wrap kit, killer chiller,, manual fuel reg, AFR gauges set at 13.3 , fuel pressure 64 psi, 3.27 rear ,wavetrac drag radials ,
transmission built by Rudy to hold 900 hp, rear susppension by Rudy Needswings duel intake , 3" exhaust from homemade headers to the srt6 muffler
no cats, no resonator all seats stayed in car.. Everything on this car was tweaked to the max. I do not have pic photobucket has them and unless i pay i can;t get them but most pictures are on utube,
