Default Codes P0638 & P0226

Have twice now had an issue with my SRT6 - which produces codes P0638 & 0226. Symptoms are that car drives great then revs will fluctuate up/down, car goes into limp mode. Then on restarting issue will go away.
Codes could be TPS in accelerator pedal or in Throttle body itself.
Am reaching out to see if anyone else ever had the same codes?
Am leaning towards (hoping even) is “just” a new pedal rather than throttle body?

did U do the throttle reset? and U should disconnect the batt do one of two things 1 open the door about 5 times from fully closed.
two pump the brake peddle about 5 times, this is to discharge the capacitors in the system,,, reconnect the batt if that did not work reset the throttle body.

The throttle body reset

1. Get in your car
2. Turn the key to the on (not start) position, the position just before the starter
turns over.
3. Press the gas pedal to the floor with the key in the "on" position.
4. Hold the pedal to the floor for five seconds, then turn the key back
to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas
pedal.
5. Wait 2 minutes for a full alignment.
6. Drive the car as you always do.

Hi - and thanks for your response.

Yes, have done throttle resets - but not the door opening/pump brake/disconnect battery. As I’ve said all seems to work fine until it doesn’t. Would have thought would have found earlier reference to same codes. Searching Merc sites would suggest they are “more” linked to pedal than throttle body itself.
