In the last 23 years there have been a lot of incredible new cars created, and every one wants you as a new owner. That being said, how many "Original Crossfire owner's" still keep their Crossfires in their stable? I still own my 04. and last year I purchased a 2008 roadster, but quickly sold it for a much nicer 08 coupe. I can name several other much newer cars out there I'd love to own, but just not enough to trade-in my original 04 XF for.

I still have my 08 coupe. Don't plan of changing that as I just LOVE this car's handling. I get many stares and comments no matter where I drive her. Forever mine!

Mike,
I still have my original 2005 Coupe. It turned 21 years old last December 2025. I still enjoy driving it as much as I did when I purchased it new so many years ago. It's definitely not driven in the Michigan winter months.
BTW, I still regret missing out on your other Chrysler snake..
Re: How many "Original Owners" still own their cars?
It’s funny - I am NOT an original owner, but caught the Crossfire fever in 2011. It started with a N/A Coupe in graphite. When I sat in the SRT for the first time, I knew I had to get one. I ended up purchasing a SRT roadster and drive it almost every day. I remember, when my “Crossfire addiction” first started, my dad told me, just like any car, eventually I would get sick of it and move on to something else. Even though we own other vehicles, the Crossfire was and is my absolute #1. I do not see myself selling it in the foreseeable future.
It’s just too much fun and the engine quality is second to none. To me at least, it outshines its brother the SLK in every aspect and I think the SLK has become extremely date, while I still think the styling of the X-fire is a timeless classic.
Most people don’t know the Crossfire exists and those that do are either ill informed or come from curios. Even less know what the SRT is and it’s always fun to see modern sports cars outperformed by a car from the early 2000s.

That's an absolute .
Re: How many "Original Owners" still own their cars?
I met the lady who owns the car in the picture below. She bought her car new in 2006 and she still loves it.
Unfortunately, she wasn't interested in the forum or facebook pages.
Re: How many "Original Owners" still own their cars?
My 2007 Coupe had only 1507 miles on it when I found it in KCMO during a visit to my Dad's place in SEP/2008. Bought the Coupe on OCT 4th after a couple of weeks negotiating back & forth with the dealer. Original owner traded it after only 6 months of ownership. Told the dealer that it 'rode like a sports car instead of a Chrysler'. Imagine that!
So I'm the 'pseudo' original owner minus 6 months!
Re: How many "Original Owners" still own their cars?
I purchased my 2005 Limited roadster in June 28, 2004 when the first roadsters hit the dealerships. This June will be 26 years of ownership and have never regretted the purchase. I've never owned a car this long and I will probably never get rid of her. I have made many friends and have gone to many GTG's through the years because of this car but now that I've gotten older I have not been doing the longer drives to GTG's but I still love this car.
