So thats what they call those. Ive only seen those once on a bmw late at night on a highway last summer. They looked like they were "floating" inside the headlight, really cool to look at.
I installed a kit on my BMW several years ago and they looked awesome. Bimmerforums.com had complete instructions on how to tap into the interior light fuse so that they turned on when you unlocked the car. Very cool. Unfortunately, I've heard that removal of the headlight assembly in the Crossfire is quite difficult. If anyone tried this, please be sure to post pics and a how to guide.

i removed my headlights for my paintjob and it is a pitta. especially getting them back in and not scratching anything. best to have an extra set of hands with you to pull down on the bumper cover.
wcalvert and i had discussed at one point the possibility of doing an led mod to the headlights but more in the style of the new audi r8. place led's on the outer edge of the entire headlight housing rather than around each light assembly... similar to this...

We already have a kit for the crossfire (see attached).
The lights are a real hassle to open though so we never offered it to anyone.

Comments: I feel there would be a great deal of interest for an Angel Eye/Halo kit to fit the 2004-2008 Chrysler Crossfire.
Any chance of your developing one?

I'm kinda thinkin' of buying a pair of salvaged lights, getting one of their kits and givin' it a go.
What do you think?
I am going to purchase a used headlight to see if I can make something similar to the Audi. If it works, I'll post pictures and step-by-step instructions.
