I had been checking before and they never had them but I happened to check today and they are there now..... Here are some small subs that might fit in the space provided in the the space behind the driver and passenger side of the XF... I'm was going for the JL but now I"m thinking about the Kickers.... Don't know yet?????

They are listed as requiring a box. The stock mounting location is not sealed.

From reading previous posts, I think that I remember reading that the "SUBS" are diagonally shaped, meaning that they don't go straight back. I think the go inward. Correct me if i'm wrong.

The stock subs are dual coil 4 ohm. These are all single coil 4 or 8 ohm. Not a good match to the stock amp.

I'm sending this from an iPhone so bear with me on mispelled words and grammer. I always heard the subs were diagonally installed and they actually were which was very weird looking. Any hope of getting one of those 6.5 subs looks hopeless but then again I'm no specialist. My boy who is a wizard on car audio and is the person I've been talking to About this told me that it wouldn't fit. If anyone think or knows otherwise please let me know. He also did say that contrary to my belief that the subs are truly more like mid range speakers and not subs. Any 6.5 component with a small enough magnet might fit in that space. For now me and him are trying to figure out what we can do to as far improving the sound while keeping a stock but unique look but with alot better sound. I'll keep you guys up to date if we can think of any crazy ideas... LOL.... By the way my sytem is being powered by after market amps mounted behind the seats. Nothing big and crazy. Very small and thin yet powerful amps. I will post pics in a couple of days.
