Very sad to hear about this. It's always hard to see a young person die, especially the good ones.

I asked an ole Baptist preacher once, why does God take the young ones ? He turned to me and simply said "why son, Heaven would be a very boring place if it were filled 90 year ole saints. Now wouldn't it ?" I guess he was right. Sorry to hear of your loss.

Sorry to hear this. I think the key to this terrible crash is "unlicensed driver". Most likely an illegal imigrant. The news media is reluctant to put these facts in print because the liberal media wants amnesty. This kind of thing happens way too often. I hope the family sues the the company that let this man drive and gets millions. I know it won't bring their son back, but the compony needs to punished. Sorry to put a political spin on your post, but it needed to be addressed.

My condolences to their family, friends and yours Crispy. We ALL have a lot to be thankful for and memories to cry over. Life's short, make friends and keep 'em.

Motorcycles are too dangerous around here, with all the other idiots on the road. That really is a shame, Im sorry to hear you were close with him.

alot of the times on the road I've experienced young motorcyclist, and I find they lack the sense of danger when they ride. They don't use their imagination enough nor think ahead as to what lies over the back of a blind hill, while they open it up to 165mph.

I see it numerous times on the freeways, these kids ride in your blind spot, pass you on the right side, or thier exhaust isn't loud enough for people to hear em coming.

Then I see the other side of the coin where a cabby killed a kid I knew from Highschool. the driver's are on thier cell phones or talking to another person in the car and end up side swiping you into the gutter.

usually everyone is at fault, and at the speeds the new bikes can accelerate at, they should be relagated to the track and not the freeways. IMO.

You're absolutely correct! A couple of weeks ago a young honor student in our community was returning from his prom when he was t-boned and killed by a drunk illegal alien. Our normally ballless liberal newspaper was even outraged enough to call the perp an "illegal alien". ICE currently has him in custody but they say he will be prosecuted locally and serve his time before being deported. I hesitate to be optimistic but maybe some public officials are coming to their senses about the illegals in this country!
