Default Simple horsepower mods

Does anybody know any simple horsepower modifications I can make to my crossfire. I know getting a new MAS (Mass Airflow Sensor) and thermostat help, as well as an exhaust. Does anybody know any others? Thanks!

You won't see much gain with an exhaust...not unless you have a laundry list of other modifications.

Two questions:
How much difference do you want to feel?
What's your budget?

Haha good questions. I want a good amount of difference. I thought an exhaust like Magnaflow would give me 15+ horespower but I am not sure. I'm not looking to spend more than $1,000.

1000 bucks. You better go to TVT's in Jersey or you will find yourself at least a car length behind.

Yep - visit TVT:
Tune, injectors, plugs/leads, cai.

The Magnaflow sounds great but regarding performance - maybe ~5hp - nothing you would actually feel.
And I've never heard that a new MAF would make more power on this car. Maybe you confused the MAF with the throttle body?

My recommendations for more power:
No 1: CAI (from TVT oder Needswings) or the larger CLK airbox with K&N's (for the stock look)
No 2: ecu tune and larger injectors from TVT
From those two (actually three ) items you'll get IMO the most bang for the buck.
If you want to spend some more you then could go with the 74mm throttle body or an exhaust (maybe a true dual design) or the thermostat or the polished intake manifold or... But these parts don't add as much hp as the CAI and the tune.

Wow I thought a cat-back from magnaflow would give me 15+ horsepower haha. Yeah, I think changes to the intake would give me the biggest yields.
