Default Changing Navigation from Metric to English (KM to MI)

I have a 2005 SRT-6 coupe with the factory navigation system, and I'm trying to change the readout from metric to english (KM to MI). I'd rather the navigation narrator speak in the English system rather than doing the conversion in my head all time. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

Just push the NAV button until the 'settings' screen comes up, and scroll to the MEASURING SYSTEM by turning and tapping the right ****. Then select US STANDARD and confirm by pressing and holding the ****. Ta Da.

Why change it? I just love that sexy lady talking Francais to me in kilometers. Confusing, but sooooo soothing.

PS: Don't have a Navigation Manual? Go to the SRT6 Forum and dig into the Documentation Collection.

Great! Thanks so much! I know I have changed it before. But then the radio was replaced under warranty, and she was in Metric again. OOH LALA! Hahaha.

I have her speaking to me in a British voice, but english (miles) measurements. SOMEONE on here told me how to do that, with the manual, I could only get her to speak in metric measurements.

Seems like there MAY be a way to get the voice with the measurement you want.

Sure. You can have the NAV unit talk to you in any combination of female/male voices, US STANDARD/METRIC measurements, and in English/UK/French/Spanish languages. See page 86 or so of the Manual. I haven't tried all of them, so I might be wrong with some combinations. It's hard to select the options when you can't read the language on the screen.
