Default Some good stuff on oil aeration, and what to watch for

really good article from MIT. Shows the amount of aeration, which is apparently linear, and affects of engine speed, oil pressure, return lines, and windage trays.

Pages 14-17 show the math and how temp,pressure,engine speed bump the %aeration.

So, keep your eyes on that "HI" oil indicator display that appears if you overfill the crankcase.... Over time, it could cause more problems than you think

SAE has a "paid" article too.... Wasn't worth it. If someone with a built engine and hi RPM redline and a windage tray wants to double check aeration factors, and measurement, might be worth it.

Have to pay for it though.
