There is a thread with a bunch of silver head units around here, should be easy to find using search. You might want to try looking for marine units local as well, they seem to come in silver a lot of times and have the same innards as the car counterparts. The xfire silver can be pretty hard to match perfectly though so try to find as many photos as possible.

Tastes, according to manufacturer's, are moving on. Only black face plates are available this year. Silver is only available in a couple of marine models. I did a a fair amount of research and gave up.
Maybe they will make silver face plates next year???

Or you can get a NOS unit. I got a Pioneer DEH-9600MP a while back off Fleabay ... just haven't found someone to install it yet :facepalm:

I just ordered this from ebay;

KENWOOD KIV-BT901 DIGITAL MEDIA RCR IPOD ZUNE BLUETOOTH

It has all the USB's I was looking for, bluetooth, etc... just doesn't play CD's, it needs a disc changer for that. I will also be able to hook up a backup camera.

Anybody else have this and what do you think?

Thanks for sharing, I'm looking for something since my Infinity system stopped liking CD's. I keep all my music on my iPod so I don't need a disk player anyways. I'm debating either one of these two

Amazon.com: Soundstream 7" Inteq Multimedia BT: Electronics Amazon.com: Soundstream 7" Inteq Multimedia BT: Electronics
or
Amazon.com: POWER ACOUSTIK PD-931NB 9.3" INTEQ LCD TOUCHSCREEN MULTIMEDIA RECEIVER WITH BLUETOOTH(R) & DETACHA: Car Electronics Amazon.com: POWER ACOUSTIK PD-931NB 9.3" INTEQ LCD TOUCHSCREEN MULTIMEDIA RECEIVER WITH BLUETOOTH(R) & DETACHA: Car Electronics

Does anyone know for sure if a 9.3" screen will fit? I have a 6spd so I worry about wacking the when I go into 1st, 3rd, or 5th.

Did you get this unit? I've been doing some serious internet "window" shopping, and this unit I believe, is the one I want, unless someone can tell me of a better option.

I ended up getting the Power Akoustik pd-450. I traded a sub I had lying around I got for free plus $40 its just the right size in my opinion, any larger and it will hit the center console, and I still have some access to the lower buttons.

Thanks for your quick reply - it can be pretty mind boggling trying to find the "perfect" unit... My factory unit works great so I'm not in any hurry to buy another unit...I'll just keep researching...

I did research for a few months and saw that prices for a lot of the units I was looking at on Amazon were dropping, then my friend mentioned he wanted to get rid of his so I snagged it.

I went ahead and bought the Power Acoustik PD-931NB from Amazon. I also bought the NAVIBOX-2 GPS receiver and the DTV-3 digital tuner. I researched alot of units, I'm pretty sure this is the "one" for me. I found this seller very useful for researching information:
