Default Touch of Purple product...

I was at the car show up in Boston this past weekend and one of the vendors there had a product called "Touch of Purple" which claimed to repel brake dust on car rims. Has anyone ever heard of this and/or had any good results if you have used it?

Thanks

I read some reviews on Amazon. Looks like snake oil.

One claim was visibly less dust, OK but it still was dusty and maybe it was just a little less so.
Conclusion - get better brake pads.
