Magnaflow Exhaust
In case anyone is curious, wUnderCarParts.com still has awesome deals on the Magnaflow 16633. I just called them (1-888-986-3373) and they hooked up a solid Forum discount. I don't want to put them on the spot for exact numbers, but it was under $500 when all you can find online is well above $600.
So it looks the result of my crossfire being rear-ended is a nice new exhaust and a new bumper, and a few extra bucks in my pocket from the savings!

I had the same thing happen to me last summer.
Hit in the back with just enough damage to get a new rear bumper and a new Magnaflow Exhaust and I also got mine for a good price brand new and came out of the whole thing with $$ in my pocket
Thanks RMAIR and you are correct the Magnaflow for the SRT6 is a 15054 and Im glad I asked before a bought one on CL in Dallas that fits the NA XFIRE. Spoke with the guy at magnaflow and the discount is available for the 15054 as well..
Slightly off topic, but didn't want to start a whole new thread - would anyone be willing to send a photo or two of the area around / over the exhaust, specifically around the rear bumper. I learned from my GF (who was in the car when it got rear-ended) that 'some piece of mental with holes in it was stuck up above the exhaust and then fell off'
Best I can tell, the main heat shield is still there. A Google Image search pulled up a few results, but I'm curious if anyone has any good photos of the area directly above the rear tips - is there a mesh or heat shield up there? She's not even sure it was part of the car - it could have been a license plate for all we know... Last time she gets to drive my car while I'm out of town!

Hope this helps

So the exhaust is in - definitely a pain in the butt to get it installed with the body supports that the roadster has. I was lucky enough to get to do this on a lift - doing it on the ground would have been a TOTAL pain. I need to put it back up to do some final adjustments on the level of the tips, but overall I'm happy with two issues.
1 - It does indeed drone as others have mentioned. I notice it a lot when I'm in 6th gear on the freeway in light traffic, especially going uphill - when the engine is slightly below it's optimum power band - it gets REAL loud. I'm hoping it fades as others have suggested, otherwise I may look into dynamat in the trunk.
2 - It may just be because I don't have the tips perfectly level, but the little 'bend' in the rear pipe section vibrates against part of the body support at times. It's not a normal issue, but if I turn hard or hit a bump in the road I can hear it clanging. I'm hoping that an adjustment of the rear section clears that, otherwise I'll have to figure out a way to isloate the section to make sure it doesn't vibrate.
All things considered, it definitely gives the car a better growl and whether or not it adds anything to the pep. it makes me feel like I'm driving a more powerful car and sometimes that's all that matters.
