Well while everything ran good for a couple of years, both my subwoofer and speakers blew out. About a year ago I always wanted to change at least my radio because I hate the stock radio. Looks like now is a good opportunity to do so. Anyway, I was going to run out to my local BestBuy to see what "goodies" they might have in store. My friend once told me that he always recommended pionner for a head unit and kickers for subs. If anyone had something better to buy, please let me know. Also, is It possible to use the space of my old subwoofer and put a new aftermarket sub in there? Or would I have to buy a deeper are subwoofer and amp to put in the truck? Let me know what you recommend.

 

Kenwood bt955hd is what I use for the head unit. It's amazing

 

Pioneer MVH-X360BT is what I bought from Crutchfield. Came with all of the installation equipment necessary to install. I had never installed a stereo before and it was really simple. Love it for the bluetooth interaction with my Android phone (SGS III running CM 11.2 nightly). Running the mic was easy too.
